Sarah Woodin
Sarah Woodin is an independent researcher and visiting fellow at the University of Leeds.
She has carried out international research with the project Access to Specialised Support Services for Disabled Women who have Experienced Violence, 2013–2015, reporting on UK law and policy, and the perspectives of disabled women and of service providers.
She has extensive experience in researching disability, independent living and violence against disabled people.
Before entering academia Sarah worked in service provision in several local authorities and on developing policy at a national level with and on behalf of disabled people.
