Research content

Introduction

The majority of Community Care Inform content is underpinned by research, which you will see cited in the text and reference lists. (The exceptions to this are resources that are solely summarising the law, or are dedicated to sharing somebody’s lived experience).

Research, including individual studies and meta-analyses from the UK and globally where appropriate, encompasses academic journal articles and findings disseminated via books and conference papers; and reports, investigations and analyses by recognised bodies. Research of all types may incorporate the perspectives of people with lived experience. Links to the research cited are provided in the reference list at the end of each resource, to a full-text version where possible.

This page highlights a selection of some of our most research-focused content, including reviews that provide messages from key research on the impact of different forms of harm, practice guides that draw on and translate messages from research, and webinars and podcasts that discuss research findings. Use the search box above or the knowledge and practice hubs to find further research-based resources or look for different topics. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, do let us know.
